pdf Deductions and Info – Update in affect for January 1st, 2017 and later

*** On November 29th, 2016, Varsity announced a change to their deduction system.  As a result, we have updated our Deductions and Info sheet, but this change will not be in effect until JANUARY 1st, 2017.  Due to the planning logistics of events, we recognize that score sheets may have already been printed and prepped, therefore we ask that events after January 1st, 2017 utilize the updated Deductions and Info sheet above that implements these changes.  For your information, the communication from Varsity can be found here – Varsity Deduction Update.

Clarifications

For the Cheer Canada Scoring System, the Stunt Quantity Grid is a solid grid that does not change. For a team of 20 athletes, whether you choose to use 3 or 4 athletes per group, you will need 5 elite level appropriate skills to hit a 5.0 in Stunt Quantity. This may or may not be scored differently at events outside of Canada.
